approach: Sijtse Keur developed as an artists later in his life. Before he got a place in the supported studio he could not draw nor paint. He works straight from the heart. Most of his works represent a combination of flora, fauna and urban elements. Flora, fauna and urban elements. It is also about the texture of the paint. He works with layers of paint, making the surface extra thick or scratching it.

Previous exhibitions/projects: Sijtse has exhibited in a lot of venues in the Netherlands. In 2015 his work was exhibited at the Jan van der Togt Museum for the prestigious Special Awarda prize for people with special needs.
